Morning walks and adventures around town

Mom's view every morning in summer
Same bridge:
Last summer
This summer

Here I was demonstrating my super powers. I later declared that I no longer have this power.

Learning about 19th century warfare.
I'm always looking out for my dog, Chuck(y).
I call this the "book club" because it reminds me of the clubhouse on the show "Super Why."

This is my back yard.

Daredevil climbing: the playground craze of 2014.
Riverwalk Hub cafe (turn your head/phone for better view).
Central Library. I'm a regular here.
Dance class at Des Moines Social Club
Contemplating life at the farmers market...
... then dancing a little jig.

F. O. F. (Friends/Family of Frank)

Last day of school for mom = last lunch with the Hancocks.
Sprayground
Dinner at Mullets with Missy and Chuck
On the walk home from dinner we stopped to watch a show across the river.
Missy always makes me laugh.
We rode bikes with Ang to help cheer Chuck and the other runners of the Dam to Dam race.
Peyton and I played at the Dusbabalonis' party.

Fong's friends
And more Fong's friends.

Some of my grownup pals came out for a boat ride.

We met up with the Walthers family at the Jasper Winery! I loved chasing Caiden ...
... and tackling Maddy!
Basketball (minus the basket) with my Popeye
Taking a breather
Gardening with Grandma--she shows me how to use my very own spade!
At the Science Center! Will is always willing to help me out.

First time in a movie theater! Might as well start with IMAX.
Practicing for the future.
Buzzard Billy's back porch with a dude I admire.

Memorial Day weekend

It's finally warm enough to play outside on the patio!

We took at boat ride with Popeye and Grandma.

Dad and I slept late.
I took a bath, of course.
Sunday we rode down to Cumming on the bike trail.
Apricot hits the spot.
We got stuck in a rainstorm on the way home--luckily Orlondo's is on the trail!
To complete our fun-filled weekend, we went to a baseball game! The Hancocks, too!

And the Walthers(es)!
Cubby bear (I was too busy getting my glove on)
Oh well ... got a high five at least!
My buddy, Sam Hancock, and I discussed the game.
My sis/friend/rival, Annie Hancock, and I shared (nicely!) a frosty malt.
Maddy (10), Caiden (almost 8), Nina (7), Sam (4), Me (2), Annie (2): After we splashed in the ballpark fountain.
After that (!) I let Chuck Boom play with me at Zimm's. Whew!
