We went to Josh and Jessie's house in Adel!

I love baby Marek ("Meck")!

Peyton and I walked with our moms and friends to a park.

I drove this vehicle ...

... and hesitated a little before sliding down a huge slide.

Missy helped me climb up here.

Sarah and Peyton had fun on the swings.

Then we all walked home.

Peyton and I hitched a ride for the last part of the (short) journey.

Mom and I took a special field trip to the IOWA STATE FAIR!!

I met some nice goats. 

Do you think I'd make a good farmer?

We shared some ice cream. 

At the petting zoo, I fed some animals: a goat ... 

... and a llama!

My first midway ride!! Mom smiled real sweet
and the nice man let me on, even though I am a little too short. 

My excitement about the choo choo quickly waned.
Does this go any faster?

Carousel--now this is more like it!

Speed, bouncing, music--I loved every minute (all two of them). 

Mom wanted me to go on this boat ride called Ye Old Mill, but I wasn't so sure. 

Are you sure this thing is watertight, Mom?

Whoa! It's getting dark!

I spent a lot of time talking to the baby chicks. 

Then I tried out my farming skills for real. I planted a tomato ... 

... drove some feed to the cattle ... 

... and was rewarded with a banana for my efforts. What a fun afternoon.

Jim showed me where the chickens lay eggs. 

Mom made me pose in front of these flowers.

I was a little nervous around horses, but fascinated.

Daddy held Teddy ... and rocked him and sang to him ... HEY!!

 Jealousy! I kept saying "Fwank" and tried to climb into his lap.
