July 25, 2016

We went to Living History Farms with Uncle Andrew, Aunt Shana, and cousins Keira and Ady!
1850 farm
1900 farm
We tried out this antique upright piano.
These stereoscopes are what kids played with before Leap Pads.

We studied old-fashioned books and wrote on slate boards in the schoolhouse.

We learned about farm technology from the 1870s (butter churn!).
I demonstrated the even fancier butter churn treadmill!
Mom and I got lunch at Pickerman's and enjoyed the 21st century.
