Summer Vacation Part 4: June 22-24

We had breakfast at this deli.
My first lox and cream cheese bagel! (OK, that was mom's.)

Then we met David, Elia, and Niva at a fun Park Slope playground. Elia found it less exciting :)

Then we were joined by Allison and baby Eva!

We went to Bogota, a Latin restaurant.

I helped feed Eva, of course.
This is my first iPhone portrait that actually looks kind of cool.
Then we went to Nicole's house to watch the World Cup.

I played with some nice kitties,
and showed Nicole my tummy. (?)

Monday morning we took a train to Manhattan to see Dad's coworkers.
We had lunch on this awesome patio.
The subway ride was the perfect napping spot.

On our last full day, we packed up and moved to Allison's apartment in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. I loved hanging out with Eva!

We met up with our friend Katie, too! She and I were having a menu fight.

I fell asleep in the stroller on our walk back to Allison's. A kid's gotta squeeze in a nap when he can.

I loved entertaining Eva (9 months) and playing with her toys!

We spent our last hours in New York in Astoria, Queens. We got lunch at Mom and Dad's favorite Thai restaurant.
Then we went to the Bohemian Hall beer garden to meet our friend Alex and watch some soccer.
Finally, we stopped at one last "New York Park" (as I call the playgrounds here) before heading to the airport.

Summer Vacation Part 3: June 20-21

After a wonderful stay in Georgia, we boarded another plane. Dad read to my buddies and me.
When the plane landed, we were in New York!
First we visited a playground.
"A New York Park!" I exclaimed when I saw it. Mom was happy her efforts of prepping me with Sesame Street had paid off.
Then we ate dinner at Elora's, a Mexican place where Mom and Dad used to go with their friends.
The next morning we met up with our friends David and Niva in Prospect Park.
They have a super cool boy named Elia who is almost 2 ... and a new baby on the way!
After a nice hot cup of coffee ;) ...
... we played some ball in the park.

Elia liked to play with my motorcycle.

We had fun at this little toddler playground. No big kids allowed!

Next, we walked through the park and down to Cortelyou Road, Mom and Dad's old neighborhood.
We visited Sycamore (the World Cup was on TV) and enjoyed the beautiful day.
"I'm a robot!" I also met some fun friends in the Sycamore backyard.
Then it was time to satisfy Mom's craving for Tibetan food.
I wasn't really hungry for momos, but my parents liked them!
That's not all! We went to an outdoor concert back in Prospect Park with our friends Leslie and Rafael (who are also expecting a baby soon!)
Mom and I made some goofy selfies, and then it was time for bed.
