Georgia Trip

After New York, we flew to Georgia to see Grandma and Grandpa! I flew the plane.
Just kidding! I took a nap. Mom says I am a great traveler.
We saw a bear in a wildlife park in Athens, GA.
I was a bear, too!
We got lots of time to swim in Mr. and Mrs. Manos's pool!

At first I was scared because I did not swim all winter, but by the end of the trip I was doing great!

We ate at The Caboose! I had a yummy hot dog, and I got to play with Dad's old toys.

I got to spend lots of time in Grandpa's "train house."

We went to a fun concert in nearby Rutledge, GA. I met some cool friends, and we played on the playground!

Mom and I danced to Anne Murray songs.
We thought it was going to rain, but it turned out to be a lovely evening.
We had fun at the concert!
Another fun thing we did was go to the Madison Cultural Center for a bike parade and flamenco show!
I didn't have my bike, so we decorated me instead!
And then ... I got ice cream!

More pictures with my beloved trains!

My "Papa Choo Choo" is kind of a big deal.
We went on a walk, and I met a horse! Can you see him?

We threw sticks in this creek. Are there any frogs in here?

I read Laura Ingalls Wilder for the first time. I like the parts about bears!
On the way home!
I am very interested in drawing maps lately.

This is a map of New York, Georgia, and Iowa,

After 11 fun days of vacation, I was happy to get home to see my dog and cat.

New York Trip Part 2

On Monday, our last day in NY, we went to the Prospect Park zoo!

Mom had this great idea to take winding trails through the park ... but eventually we found the zoo entrance.

Sea lions were my favorite!

Look! I'm a spider.

We had snacks and happy hour with Katie, Shane, and James outside at Soda Bar.

We're so tall! We had some snacks at Lincoln Station.

Monday night, we got to meet baby Phoenix!!

She lives in Mom and Dad's old neighborhood, Ditmas Park. We ate at a cool new (to us) restaurant called The Castello Plan.
Here's her awesome big brother, Dylan!
Yah I'm strong.

I took this picture. Not bad, huh? Here's Phoenix's dad, Rafael, and her mom, Leslie!

We had Sunday brunch with our friends Matt and Joan at a super delicious place called Talde.
(OK, I ate only one bite, but Mom and Dad said it was great.)

Sunday afternoon we met up with friends at Brooklyn Bridge Park.

It was a beautiful day on the waterfront! Here's Niva, Mom, and Winnie.

Here's Dad with Paul (holding baby Anita) and David.

We got to ride the beautiful carousel in Brooklyn Bridge Park!

Eva and Allison took a ride, too!

Last year I called her Baby Eva, but now she's a big toddler!
In this pic I am still deciding what I think about her.

What a beautiful day on the waterfront!

After some *real* Grimaldi's pizza, which of course I devoured, we got dessert at Shake Shack!

We're not on a date. Just to make that clear.

Elia and I practiced our beats on this bench.

Niva, Anita, and Minerva are having fun in the sun.

Just hangin with my pals David, Elia, and Eva.
We stopped at one last park before heading "home" for the night.
Our apartment was across the street from a fire station!! What luck!
